The last cap I made...

...was this cap-back for Dawn, a.k.a. "Commentator" at Rachel's Haven. which I presented to her in the space between sex-mas and the new year.

As you may have noticed, my posting of captions has fallen off, of late, and I'm not sure why. I have plenty of ideas - or, at least the beginnings of stories - but I simply cannot seem to get started writing them.
Sure, I've managed to drop a few comments on others' blogs, but not nearly as many as one who has stopped lurking should.
Maybe it's time for me to try a different approach to composing caps, or to stop trying all-together.

   Anyhow, here's: "Venusian Knights TemplHer"

  1. Hi, I recently discovered your site. I am a fan of Rachael's also. I think the two of you are the best in this genre, certainly for me anyway. I hope you find the time to keep creating your stories. This last one was terrific. I loved the story and the photo is sooo sexy.

    1. I deeply appreciate the compliment... Clare, is it? (Interesting that your spelling has no "I" in it.)

Since this caption is built around a single image, I doubt there will be more of this story, but one never knows. And, honestly, it is not for a shortage of available time, but rather, a lack of focus, (as with so many other areas of my life), which has brought my captioning to a near standstill.

So, Clare, I will try and take your accolade to heart as some inspiration to write some more tales of transformation!

      Peace,Love&Kisses;

    2. Hello Elle,

      Thanks for your kind reply.

I've heard that about my name. Clare is the second most popular spelling per this:

      Claire (4871), Clare (411), Klaire (74), Clair (51), Klare (9), Clayre (6), Klair (5)

    3. Haha!!! Okay, sweetie. I only mentioned it since it struck me as maybe being a variation of "klar", or "clear", and the possibility that the name might not represent the "I" you, but the "other" you. Much like "Elle" is the "her" inside me.

In other words, It's clear that "Clare" is the "her" not the "I" in you... Maybe?!

    4. LOL! It is, if I understand U which 'I' think I do.

    5. Bahaha!!! Yea! I love being understood! And, b.t.w.; There's no "U" in "Elle", but it would sure be fun to remedy that!!!

  2. Lately, I've been finding my attention span getting even shorter! So if I don't see something right away in a photo/picture .. saving it to the hard drive or putting it into a caption setting might not even be enough to "save" it for a later run-through.

So I can certainly understand your dilemma. You've been prolific enough that I wouldn't worry about it too much though.

I end up just trying little creative writing stunts that get me moving forward, like "how would Douglas Adams write a TG caption?" or "What would Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble do in this situation?" Having a blog means there is no pressure for it to be good, as I'll just post it and say, "look at how silly this is!" or just not release it for public consumption. At the very least, it will clear my mind enough to start making "normal" captions again.

    1. ""normal" captions"?! Bhahaha! That's a good one, Dee!!! And I truly appreciate your advice, as well as your captions.

It's not for lack of ideas or images that my writing has fallen off, but part of my trouble has been just getting past some internal lethargy or apathy to even try putting some words & images together. Maybe it's my medications, or a lack of the right ones.

I keep thinking that I should try a different style, like writing some one-liners or shorter pieces, but that doesn't seem to happen when I sit down at my machine. Even trying to finish caps that I've started is hindered by whatever keeps me from writing. (Sometime, it almost feels like I'm just a lurker again. I'll read some other author's wonderful cap, meaning to leave a comment, but it simply doesn't happen.) Se la guerre!?

I'll just keep trying and, hopefully, return to my "normal" "abnormal" "self" before too long.

Thanks again for the visit and the counsel, Dee! Peace,Love&Kisses!!!
