"Recruitment Training"

The brothers and sisters of Kappa-Omicron-Kappa and Tao-Iota-Tao houses know a few things. And they pass these things on to their pledges and underclassmen when the time is ripe. The organizations also have varied philanthropic interests which get employed in furthering the education of their members.
What follows is a tale of two freshmen, as they get recruited for a summer of service at one of the houses charity efforts. After all, learning to become practitioners of arcane arts can be filled with trial and tribulation... and it can also lead to finding ones' place in a grander scheme.

A cap-back for "fratBoy2 SororityGirl" at Rachel's Haven, this story centers on her preference for becoming a bit bittier than he started out. Posted in her Caption Trading Folder as simply "Recruitment", I add to that here, in case some other ideas I have get done.

I hope you find the story worth the tedium of its length.

Debbie Darling +"AppSnap" Welcome Cap

Welcome to the the new additions here: 'Honey', 'Andrissa', and 'Ricardo'!!! Thank you for joining, and I hope you enjoy the thing you find here! And thank you, Andrissa, for the amazing compendium of TG Blogs you've compiled!

This is a 'welcome' caption that I made for 'Debbie Darling', a recent addition to the family of 'Havenettes'. Debbie was kind enough to leave a nice reply to my "AppSnap" contest entry, and express her desire to find out what it could do. So, this attaches to the previous post by including an unsuspecting passer-by, once 'GamzGirl22' & 'CosmoStud' have left the train in each-others' bodies.

So far, she has no complaints, and has even intimated that she'd like to work out a more extended stay! With the way the economy has hit so many of us, any options for putting our troubles behind are worth looking into... and some are so much more desirable than others!!! Who among us would balk at the chance to wind-back some years and have a particular 'birth-defect' corrected... or either of the two?!

I hope you enjoy this little 'extension' of ; "AppSnap" or "Out of Her Brain on the Train"

"AppSnap" or "Out of Her Brain on the Train"

Here is the full version of my third entry in the June contest at Rachel's Haven.

Due to the constraints of the contest, I had to submit a shortened version for the contest itself. I have posted both versions of pg. 4. with '...04alt' being the one that runs the whole story. Which includes 'appearances' by Rachel and Bren.

Composing this has been troubled by more R-L interruptions than I care to mention, so, like it or not; here is:

June CapCon at Rachel's, 2nd Entry

  Hey folks!

Here is my second try for the June, '12 Caption contest at Rachel's Haven.

If nations could use resources to employ R&D methods like this, we would no doubt inhabit a more peaceful and beautiful world!

100th Post...

...which is probably not saying much, when compared to the frequency of much more skilled and experienced of the TG Caption bloggers, but, I do what I can.

Your visits, comments, and ratings are much appreciated!! And, while I get a bit discouraged, sometimes, at the great disparity between the number of hits and the number of comments or 'like/dislike' check-marks, I just remind myself that most of you are, as I once was, among a silent majority of "lurkers" who -while deeply enjoying the themes, concepts, depictions, and methods of gender transformation- are not in a position to offer feedback for fear of possible repercussions or having your views discovered by those around you. I can thoroughly relate!

Or, perhaps, I have failed to share enough of my self when posting, in the effort to make the focus be on the captions rather than the author. As we approach the anniversary of this blog, (and effectively, the 'birth' of "Elle-Jae Matthews"), I have been thinking that it might be a good thing to open up some more and share who I am, in addition to the captions I write and receive from friends and compatriots in the TG-Cap communities.

Your thoughts on this would also be greatly appreciated!! As I have always been rather an introvert and a wall-flower, not believing my views or personal experiences to be of much interest to others. Neither wishing to bring offense to any by the sharing of certain beliefs or matters of faith, nor through doing such, have the spirit of this fun avocation besieged with input from those who do not share a love of things TG/TF but have stumbled upon text that peaks their curiosity/interest in subjects unrelated to the captions herein displayed.

All that being said, I offer the following. A photomanip I did months ago for entry in a Y!group contest, and have just captioned for a dear kindred soul I met among those of Rachel's Haven. I had been meaning to caption the image for posting here, and not gotten to, or found much inspiration for, a story to wrap around it. Then, upon finding a love of reviewing beers among the happiness of a friend, the following union of hobbies came to mind. So, please, indulge yourselves in:

LumberJacqueling & More

Nebula, who I met in the PossessionObsession3 Y!group, and whose work I have featured some of  as Guest Captions here, recently asked me to add some of my work to the goings-on over at the up & running reiteration of TF-Media.

It has been a while, (too long), since I have had much fun with the friends  I made while at Yahfoo, so rather than just add old stuff to the captions at TF-Media, I decided to add new stuff to old stuff and then put that stuff among the other stuff over there. (I should just get stuffed, right!?!)

As Nebula had made request of captioning a certain model by the name of Courtney Cass, I met that with the first page, (which is re-posted here just for the continuity of the story), "LumberJacqueline". Wanting to add some new material, I put together the 2nd page and gave the tale a twist.
Owing to my love of doing photo-manipulations and progression into 'GIMP' as the software of preference for composing new work, there is a marked difference in the two pages, as the original was made using 'MS Paint', and I was undecided at that  time as to whether there be any more of the story. So I do apologize for the inconsistency of the look or quality of  the two related pages.

Regardless of all that; If becoming a 'tree-hugger' went something like this, I think we'd be beating a trail to the  nearest 'enchanting woods' to try and get recruited for duty in service and steward(ess)ship!

Beauty & the Bends

This little adventure in transformation came from one of the images that 'Neorotoxin' posted for use at Rachel's Haven. In composing the story, I 'enlisted' the aid of Chel as the agent of change, believing my favorite little Mer-babe would not mind helping out a couple of guys who might otherwise perish beneath the rolling waves of the harsh mistress which is the sea.

Exotic gasses or bubbly nitrogen aside, after surfacing with new bends like these, I'd definitely be ready to go diving again... and have my sunken treasure dived on as well!!!

Here's hoping that you enjoy the pounding surf and salty spray of...

   "Beauty & the Bends"

And this is an 'interlude' to a larger series I've been  doing for 'Apokol', which, as go so many of my longer stories, is far from done. I was just moved one day to throw together a manip toward lending scale to the main characters and theme. What resulted was...

June CapCon at Rachel's (1st attempt)

Transportation via means other than automobiles, is the theme this month. So this is the first entry I've composed. And so far it looks as though the recent influx of new members might bring an increase in participation as well.

I am hard-pressed to decide whether to wait until near the end to read all  the other entries, or to keep abreast of them as they are submitted so as to avoid the rush near the end.

Anyhow, my first submission revolves around making the world, or this city at least, a better place to live. Maybe it is my choice of acronyms that has put-off any readers from commenting on the entry at Rachel's Haven, or maybe the concept is just lame. Regardless of which it is, I put a lot of thought into this, so I'll post it here as well.

As always, your thoughts and comments are most appreciated.

More Presents for Havenettes

Here are a few recent bit and pieces I've put together for some of the 'girlz'' at Rachel's Haven, both long-standing and recent additions.
My tendency for 'jumping the gun' and dropping a caption in an Introduction thread now and then means that not all of the recipients have trading folders, or even intend to do captions at all. I just like to have fun and try helping them feel welcome!

For Bren: "Brian Beard Trim" (One of Rachel's amazing Administrators, hardly a newbie. I made this to aim for several of her quirks in a single shot... for which she awarded me a cadre of kitties!)

 For DianeD: "Final X Am"

For Liz at Y! PO3 "Undercover Partner" (is an extension of one of her concepts I had thought of turning into a series, but have not yet continued)

For Consensus: "Insights" (we both seem to confuse people by thinking about what we say. this work of dissonant prose is not aimed at any one other than numerous, unnamed  people we've each encountered in our R-L acquaintances and work environs.)

For Howler: "Shapeshifter David: Earning His Keep" (a little photomanip too, to depict his ablilities.)

For Pacomaster; (two separate caps for this lover of 'werewomanhood')

For Playin Petra: "Pete; an Escape-Fail Tale" (not recent, but not posted here -I don't think. Petra is not a newbie by any means, but she is fun to play with, and a great help among The Haven Admin's.)
